In case you need a reminder, Quantico, Veterans Day is Wednesday, November 11! But what, exactly, is Veterans Day? In a nutshell, this federal holiday, which takes place annually on November 11, commemorates the anniversary of the end of World War I, as well as honors all persons who have served in the U.S. military throughout history.

As such, there are many national businesses that offer discounts and freebies to vets and active members of the military on this special day.
